What changes the price
- Season: July, August and the Easter fortnight are the most expensive; November to March is the least.
- Hotels: a caldera-view suite on Santorini can cost several times a city-centre room in Athens.
- Group size: private vehicles carry up to four, seven or sixteen people, so cost per person falls with group size.
- Entrance fees: archaeological site tickets are paid at cost. Check current prices on the official ticketing platform.
What is not included
International flights, lunches and drinks not listed in your itinerary, travel insurance and optional gratuities are normally excluded. Tipping is appreciated but not obligatory in Greece; many guests add 5–10 % for exceptional service.
Frequently asked questions
Is a private tour in Greece worth the extra cost?
For many travellers, yes. You choose the start time (beating queues and heat), skip the coach stops and spend time where you are interested. For couples and families of three or four, the cost per person is closer to a small-group tour than most people expect.
Do prices include entrance fees?
Day-tour prices exclude entrance fees, which we pre-book and pass on at cost. Multi-day journeys list exactly what is included in your proposal.
