Private Peloponnese Day: Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus & Nafplio
Four chapters of Greek history in one long, unhurried day.
A private full-day tour from Athens to the Corinth Canal, Mycenae’s Lion Gate, the theatre at Epidaurus and the harbour town of Nafplio, with lunch by the sea. About 11 hours. From £560 per group of up to four people.
This is the classic day for travellers who love history but have only one day beyond Athens. The Bronze Age citadel of Mycenae and the 4th-century BC theatre of Epidaurus are both UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece, is the place to slow down: neoclassical mansions, a Venetian fortress and a harbour for lunch.
